Best Discover credit cards

If you're looking for a network that issues both cash back and travel cards with no annual fee, look no further.

All Discover cards not only have no annual fee, but they also don't charge any foreign exchange fees, putting more money in your wallet.

The good news doesn't stop there. For all cards, there's no lower limit to how many rewards you can redeem. If you have a penny available, you can redeem it. That's something that's not easily found with other cards.

Like keeping up to date on your credit score? All Discover cards offer free access to your FICO Credit Score, so you can stay on top of your credit report.

And Discover cards come with 100% US-based customer service.

This all seems great…

So what are the downsides?

For starters, if you travel outside the United States, your Discover card will have limited acceptance. Be sure to take a Visa or Mastercard with you so this won't be an issue for you.

Discover cards don't have any insurance coverage, including basic options like extended warranty. If you value credit card insurance, Discover may not be a great fit.

And while only offering no annual fee cards is great, you won't get access to the great perks or better earn rates that usually come with premium credit cards with a higher annual fee. If you like collecting airline miles, Discover won't be able to get you any.

With that said, there's still a LOT to like about what Discover credit cards offer.
