^◊ The creditcardGenius algorithm calculates an estimated dollar value for all rewards and bonuses by combining typical monthly spending with well-researched reward point value estimates. "Annual Rewards" is calculated by combining our default $2,000 in monthly spending ($24,000 annually) spread across 8 different spending categories (gas, groceries, travel, etc) with our point value estimates. Annual Rewards will change if the user adjusts their monthly spending away from the $2,000 monthly default or changes their reward preferences. "Welcome Bonus" is calculated by combining all one-time bonuses available to new cardholders within the first year with our point value estimates.
