We maintain a growing database of 136 U.S. credit cards, and track 126+ features for each. Some financial institutions pay us a referral fee when a customer applies through creditcardGenius and their application is approved, which may influence what we write about and how products appear on the site.
However, we list cards from major national financial institutions (unless they have asked us not to), even if they pay us nothing. Our rankings are independent of compensation because our math-based algorithm dictates the results of our Genius Rating.
Developed and fine-tuned over 10 years, our comparison engine started as a passion project with a simple goal: to simplify the complex and confusing reward systems so consumers can make informed decisions.
